This delightful first floor apartment has recently been fully refurbished to our interior designer’s specifications. The lovely Victorian townhouse it occupies is situated in a pretty tree lined triangle in South Kensington. Its quiet location off the beaten track still gives immediate access to the all the facilities South Kensington can offer.
Our designer has used modern lighting, bespoke joinery and a large exposed brickwork wall to give the space warmth and a contemporary atmosphere while the huge windows and tall ceilings ensure a great sense of light and space.
The accommodation is split over two floors. The main floor is the open plan living area with designer kitchen, sofa and coffee table. A large flat screen TV offers evenings catching up with your favourite box set or browsing the numerous available TV channels.
The enormous French windows have views onto the pretty street below and provide plenty of natural light as well as access to the balcony, a great place to spend a summer’s evening with a bottle of something cold, or to start your day al fresco.
On the upper mezzanine level you will find the elegantly appointed bedroom with a comfortable double bed, drawers and hanging space. This has views down to the living area and out through the French windows. Spend Sunday morning in bed watching the second large flat screen TV.
The stylish kitchen offers everything you need from the Nespresso machine for early wake ups to pots, pans and crockery for your favourite recipes. The oven, hob and fridge freeze are all newly installed.
The newly installed bathroom has a large walk in power shower with separate hand shower for a refreshing start to the day, while the underfloor heating provides comfort through the year.
Our apartments are fully serviced and the weekly rent includes all utility bills (electricity, gas and water), TV and free WiFi. A weekly cleaning service can be arranged by separate agreement. The building has CCTV security and an entry phone system in the apartment.
Set in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, this flat is in an attractive neighbourhood while benefiting from its quiet location. There is a wide variety of local shopping, restaurant and nightlife opportunities to explore, enjoyed by both Londoners and tourists.
Added to this, within walking distance you have the Natural History, Science and V&A Museums, while Hyde Park is 8 minutes walk if you want to escape or maybe go for a jog. You could even try rowing on the Serpentine or a swim in the Lido. Knightsbridge is about a 10 minute walk, where you’ll find Harrods, Harvey Nicholls and other upmarket retailers.
There are excellent transport links too, with the London Underground only 400m away and a large number of bus routes nearby, giving you easy access to the whole of this vibrant city.
